Ned is Chairman of the Board at V12 Data and a Managing Partner at Brook Venture. Brook Venture provides capital to expansion stage businesses. Ned began his career at First Winthrop Corporation, where he managed an investor base with assets in excess of three billion dollars, and designed, implemented, and directed his team to execute a national sales and marketing strategy that yielded a 400% increase in syndicate production. During his tenure at Morgan Stanley’s New York City operations in the mid-1990s, he was involved in the marketing of more than 25 IPOs, including Netscape and the spinout of Lucent Technologies from AT&T. Ned later returned to Boston’s private equity and venture capital industry as a Managing Director at Saturn Asset Management, where he completed seven rounds of financing totaling over $35 million for five portfolio companies. There, he provided the first venture financing into Roving Software (now Constant Contact, CTCT) and FreeMarkets Online (now Ariba, ARBA).
Ned is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts and Kents Hill preparatory School in Maine.
