DataMentors’ data facility receives third consecutive SAS 70 certification

(DHI), parent company of DataMentors LLC, the industry leading full-service Data Quality and Data Integration Solutions Company, today announced the completion of its Statement of Auditing Standard Number 70 (SAS 70) certification for Service Organizations.

SAS 70 certification validates the reliability, scalability, security and processing integrity of Managed Hosting and Dedicated Hosting offered by DataMentors. This is a significant achievement for DataMentors as it validates the company’s security and functionality procedures and protocols. The SAS 70 certification was established to audit and report on the effectiveness of operations and controls of a service provider. The DataMentors solution was examined for organizational structure, administration, physical and environmental controls, and security. SAS 70 is a critical certification for any organization responsible for managing other companies’ databases such as those companies affected by Sarbanes Oxley procedural requirements.
