Company Announces Growth in Customers, Employees and Facilities

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - TAMPA, Fla., October 5, 2006 -- DataMentors, Inc., a leading full-service data quality solutions company, will participate in a ground-breaking ceremony to launch the construction of a new 10,000 square foot headquarters facility. Located within the Cypress Ridge Office Park in Pasco County Florida, the new building is reflective of DataMentors’ recent and continued growth in customer installations, corporate revenue and employee base.

Bob Orf, DataMentors’ President, has a history of creating and growing successful technology businesses. As one of the founders of the OKRA Marketing Company, a database marketing firm, Bob’s leadership helped to grow the company to 130 employees before the firm was eventually sold to the John H. Harland check printing company of Tampa. Leveraging record sales in 2005 and projections for the same in 2006, Bob has DataMentors following the same growth model. The DataMentors’ team, which includes co-founder Bev Tannenbaum, has an average of 15 years experience in the data quality and database marketing industries. The company plans to double their employee base within the first three years of operating in Pasco County, said Mr. Orf.

The reason for the growth is the unique combination of specialized data quality and database marketing solutions leveraged to address data problems across broad markets. “DataMentors’ customers range from banks to drugstores to casinos. Through data quality initiatives, we help companies use their data to identify what products specific customers are buying – information that allows the businesses to better target their marketing.”

According to Mr. Orf, “We also help companies make use of their data to more effectively perform certain operational processes. Casinos, for instance, operate under Gaming Regulations that prohibit the marketing to people on what is called the disassociated players list. Our software helps the casinos compare its marketing lists with the disassociated list and remove the individuals barred from gambling activity. Fines for non-compliance can reach into the tens of thousands, so the savings for the casino is substantial and palpable,” Orf said.

Another example, according to Mr. Orf, is in the Financial Services industry where banks toil to satisfy the requirements of Anti-Wire Fraud regulations. “Here, using our advanced matching technology, we work to make sense of unstructured wire feeds. Our solutions add the missing structure while creating visibility into connections, relationships and overall suspicious activity that would have otherwise gone unnoticed.”

The move of DataMentors from their Tampa home to the new location is exactly what the Pasco County Economic Development Center (PEDC) is looking to achieve. Bryan Kamm, PEDC project manager, noted “DataMentors, as a technology firm, comes with the types of higher paying jobs that the county has been trying to attract.
