Senior Business Analyst
The Senior Business Analyst will report to the Director of Professional Services. This individual will be responsible for working closely clients to drive the overall development of data driven marketing solutions including: Objectives definition, required analytics and data mart development roadmap, ROI Methodologies, Predictive Modeling, Relationship Deepening Models, Relationship Value Proposition development, marketing and competitive analysis. Using innovative database marketing techniques, this role will help in improving response rates and ROI for clients.
The position requires: 5+ years of Data Mart design and implementation experience, and experience designing/building predictive response models. You also need an in-depth understanding of business intelligence, data modeling and reporting, Direct Marketing and/or Marketing Analytics experience and possess excellent communication skills.
Data Analyst
The Data Analyst position is the primary source for service bureau based job processing and client-based software initial process design and implementation. The Data Analyst is responsible for the design, implementation and documentation of processes established to meet the client/job expectations, as set forth in the statement of work or mutually agreed upon deliverables. The Data Analyst serves as the principal contact between DataMentors and the client and is responsible for setting and managing client expectations, securing the necessary resources, and producing the expected deliverables, in both a timely and quality fashion. In essence, the Data Analyst acts as the account manager, process consultant, programmer and quality assurance presence.
Production Analyst
The Production Analyst position is the primary source for service bureau based job processing. The Production Analyst is responsible for the documentation, scheduling, automation, and monitoring of processes established to meet the client/job expectations, as set forth in the statement of work or mutually agreed upon deliverables.
Operations Analyst (Night Position 10pm-6am)
The Operations Analyst is the primary source for the scheduling, monitoring, and support of all service bureau-based production jobs and related network systems.
Key Responsibilities
Specialize and develop expertise in proprietary applications (DataFuse, DMUtils)
Scheduling and monitoring of all off-hour batch jobs
Assist in proprietary software testing and QA as required
Provide out of hours support as required for production systems and job streams
Execute the installation, configuration, and testing of PC and server hardware, software, LAN networks, and operating and system management systems
Resolve end user hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion
Produce reports highlighting faults, configuration, resource utilization, performance, maintenance and security
Work with external parties to ensure production support availability
Maintain system functionality by performing system monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning
Configure networks to ensure their smooth and reliable operation for fulfilling business objectives and processes.
Create and maintain documentation as it relates to network configuration, network mapping, processes, and service records
Ensure network connectivity of all servers, workstations, fax machines, and other network appliances
Manage servers, including database, e-mail, print, and backup servers and their associated operating systems and software
Practice network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information
Participate in managing all network security solutions including antivirus and patch management
Perform server and security audits, and system backups and recovery
Qualifications
Associates degree – Bachelors degree is preferred
Basic understanding of database concepts – Oracle experience a plus
Ability to manage multiple detail-oriented tasks concurrently
Conceptual ability to visualize and document data flow throughout a multi-step process
Proven experience with network capacity planning, network security principles, and general network management best practices
Strong, hands-on technical knowledge of Windows network operating systems – Linux a plus
Excellent hardware troubleshooting experience
Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws
Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
Able to conduct research into networking issues and products as required
Highly self motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
Able to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment
